Connections and Components
These photos will help you understand the components and some of the construction of a cold-formed structure. Each of our kits includes a detailed construction manual (booklet) that has QR codes to videos and additional photos for nearly every connection in our structures!
Overhang Connection
Overhang connections are engineered up to 24 inches. Adding an overhang increases the character of any structure and helps with water shed.
Custom Girt Placement
Girts are bolted directly to columns. Hole are predrilled. This carport has custom girt spacing for a special metal cladding used. This is perfect for the custom barndominium and customer who plans on finishing out the interior.
Column Anchors
Our unique process ensures that each column is anchored directly into the concrete footer or pier. Our brackets are mounted to the column via bolts, then to foundation with special tapping concrete anchors. This prevents the need for anchors prior to erection when concrete is being poured, saving time and risk of incorrectly placed anchors.
Delivered Materials
Each kit is delivered with detailed materials list and sorted materials making it easy for the installer to identify components and quickly erect their structure.
